Probes are made to application length and
are 0.188" diameter.
The probe body is brass (solderable) and
the internal construction is stainless and Teflon.
The probe contains no electronics and
can be installed in engine crankcases.
Stainless steel probes are available for water, alcohol, or ionic solutions.
The probes employ a mutual capacitance
technique that is
insensitive to the connection length between
the indicator and the probe.
